This week we covered a variety of topics including animal habitats and diet, and learning about color mixing. The children have been very interested in animal dress up and construction, which led us to building all kinds of zoos and farms for animals (and students dressed as animals!) to live in. The class has become very interested in dinosaurs, so we have been talking about the environments they lived in, their size, and what kinds of things that ate. We know that some dinosaurs eat plants, some dinosaurs eat eggs, and some dinosaurs eat other dinosaurs! We have been working with this chart and are getting quite good at matching the small world dinosaurs we have in class to the chart.
Please note that Loy Krathong will be celebrated at school on Monday November 30th at 9 AM. You are more than welcome to come and join us in the playground for this special occasion. Children may wear their traditional Thai dress for Loy Krathong day. Additionally, thank you to those who have brought in a red outfit and any color scarf for the Christmas concert. Aim to have all clothes in by Tuesday, December 8.
