Blog 4: P.E, our new book and House Colour Day

Hello, parents. I hope you all had a great weekend. I am sure you are relieved, as am I, that our class schedule and teachers are beginning to return to normal as my foot continues to heal.  First, I wanted to post some pictures from our P.E. specialist lessons with Mr. John and Mr. Andy. They have been great this year, working with the children primarily in the soft playroom on the children's physical development. Here are some pictures of some exercises from past week:

This week we began our book, Goldilocks and the three bears, which is a great resource in helping our class to learn about how objects relate to one another in size. The class was already familiar with terms like, "Big and small" "hot and cold" "soft and hard", but we are starting to realize that sometimes one thing appears big until it is put next to something even bigger! We also had a great time making puppets that we are using to tell the story of Goldilocks inside the classroom.

We had a very successful House Colours Day! Every member of the class participated in the activities we had planned and enjoyed practicing working as a team within their own houses. The children were very proud to be invited to participate with KG and Reception.  Here are some photos from last Friday.
