| Taj, WenWen and Peach had fun mixing rice with paint to make something fun for us to play with... |
"This Blue one is for you Wen Wen!" said Peach
Using our hands was just as fun.
Taj made a rainbow with his hands together with Teacher Charlie.
Peach enjoyed scooping up the rice with her spoon to fill her cup. It was such a hit-we will continue to play with our colorful rice next week!
Students were very proud to complete lacing string onto cars
and trucks all by themselves.
Everyone had a great time playing with the tube ramp for our
cars in class.
Each child had a chance to try the ramp when it was horizontal
on the ground and to figure out that it needed to be lifted in order to work
and make the car move through the tube.
Thanks to everyone
who was able to send in some toys for our show and tell. The students showed a
lot of courage to get up in front of their peers to talk about their different
types of transport vehicles.
Taj asked everyone questions about his airplane then showed them how it flies in the sky.
Peach shared her toy train and then put it on the train tracks with some help from 4D and WenWen.
WenWen shared his red and blue airplanes then we flew them in the sky together.
Nine showed everyone his red toy truck and then drove it on the road.
Angie also had a little white airplane to share. She flew it high in the sky while 4D made the sound effects of the plane engine.
Our story this week
was little Red Caboose. The students enjoyed the story and especially when they
role played being a part of the train. Students even took turns coming down the
aisle to offer the train’s passengers some food to eat!
Cooper was the Big Black Engine
Angie was the Little Red Caboose.
All Aboard!! " chugga chugga"
Wen Wen was the boys and girls waving to the train in the story.
Up up up the mountain the train went....
Taj and Nine made their own shorter train!
Our train became a boat! Watch out for the Crocodile!
