Blog 2.8 March 2nd- 8th

Last week we began our transportation Unit, so we have been learning all about Cars, Trains, Buses, Helicopters, Trucks, Hot-Air Balloons, motorcycles, airplanes, Boats and Submarines.

Everyone helped to decorate our classroom for the new unit by painting and gluing Submarines and 2 Hot-Air balloons.

Students practiced their fine motor skills to color and cut to make different vehicles. They then sorted and pasted them onto our new display wall in the appropriate area: sky, sea, road or train tracks.

Students made their own boats with recycled materials and we took them outside to the water play area to see if they would float and how to make them move.

Students have also been having fun with some new books, toys and classroom castles and of course have been remembering to share with each other and take turns.
