This week we are reading and doing activities related to The Gingerbread Man. Here is the YouTube adaptation we have watched in class. You can help at home by having your child help you bake cookies or by role playing the story in a game of tag. The gingerbread man is chased by a number of different animals including a horse, dog, cow, rooster and-most importantly- a fox!
Please note that Term 1 reports will be send home and emailed out this week. These reports are a way to get a bigger picture of your child's development across the curriculum this Term and to summarize your child's interests and achievements so far. I have come across a great storybook and English vocabulary app that I encourage you to take a look at for home learning over the holidays. Our class used sponges and paint to make a stencil Christmas tree card
We made puzzles out of photos of ourselves and had fun solving them!
We made paper helicopters that we took to the playground
