The children are really settling in and it's been a pleasure getting to know their interests and personalities. This week was the first week we had all of our specialist classes including music, swimming and P.E.. The children are getting much better with daily routines like lining up, taking off shoes, and hand washing before and after meals.
This week we began looking at basic shapes and colors through singing, sorting activities, art and design, and maths. Our class also did some tactile activities where we felt new textures, made a collage, and made sensory bottles. Here are some picture highlights from the week:
